In mid-2025, 91 companies completed our accident survey. The results showed that the overall Accident Incident Rate (AIR) has declined sector-wide in comparison to 2023.
The four main types of accidents sited were:
- Slips, trips and falls (52%),
- Falls from heights (20%),
- Manual handling/lifting (17%),
- Other incidents including contact with moving/falling objects and electric shock incidents (11%).
