Electronic Handbook
Click below to download the JIB Electronic Handbook, last updated during January 2007. This handbook has been designed to compliment the existing printed version but not as a replacement (available from the JIB at £5.50).To navigate through the handbook, simply select your area of interest from the main menu and buttons will be displayed containing information relevant to the chosen topic.
Text Searching - If you wish to search for key words such as "committee" or "Industry", select the search button at the foot of the opening screen. enter the desired text and the entries containing your key words will be displayed.
Copying details into your own report - This handbook has been specifically designed to enable you to include pictures or text of the Joint Industry Board services into your own report. To use this function, simply click on the image or text you wish to use, click on the copy button at the foot of the screen - the information is then ready to be "pasted" using the Windows "clipboard" facility.
Printing - This handbook offers several options for printing information. To print any of the text contained in the handbook, simply click on the required text and select the PRINT icon at the foot of the screen. You can print a whole topic by clicking on the VIEW icon, also located at the foot of the screen, select PRINT.
The handbook has been designed to produce the best results when your computer is set to display more than 256 colours on screen at a resolution of 800x600 pixels. If you are unsure on how to adjust your display, consultation with your computer supplier is recommended.
